Last time I posted was last Thursday, and a few things have happened since then. Last Saturday was Sara's baptism. I gave a talk on the Holy Ghost. Everyone seemed to like it. On Tuesday, the young woman threw a Halloween party for the primary kids. I was stuck running the Bingo table, which wasn't really Bingo, as I could control exactly who won and everything. The costume I was wearing wasn't exactly comfortable either, really tight.
I'm wearing that costume again tonight as we're going over to Ginnane's house to pass out candy tot he trick-or-treater's while Ginanne takes Emily trick-or-treating. Me and Lydia are dressed as 'The Two Princesses of Bamarre' which I doubt a lot of people know about. At mutual, only one person knew who we were, and that was only after I explained the book to her.
Lydia dressed all the cat's up in costumes made out of pipe cleaners. Simba is dressed up as a deer, or rather 'Prongs' from 'Harry Potter.' Lily is dressed up as little red riding hood. Sandy is dressed as the granny. Fiera is dressed as a wolf. Bellatrix is dressed as 'Bellatrix Lestrange' also from Harry Potter. We wanted to dressed Co-co up as a piece of chocolate, but there wasn't enough pipe cleaners.
At Piano lessons, I started a Jazz version of Silent Night, and it's probably the oddest version of it that I've heard. It's so strange.
Today in Seminary, we played New Testament Bingo, and so we all went home with lots of candy. Also, I got a Spider ring, which I named Larry. It is my official Laptop decorator now, since it is too small to fit on my finger. I'm thinking that tonight, I might change the costume slightly and be a witch instead of a princess. Lydia can stay the same, and be Sleeping Beauty or something.
Wednesday, when we went to the library, Lydia got a movie called 'Woof' and it's very strange. It's about a boy who can change into a dog and there's this whole mystery about how he does it. It must be a movie from Britain or something, because of the way they all talk in it. The main character reminds me a lot of one of the Weasley's from Harry Potter. He looks just like them.
I decided, that when I start working over the summers, I want to get a job at the library. They already know me there. I go in every week and so they can call me by name and everything. It's kind of cool. Of course, then I'll be one of those book worm type of people, but I suppose I already am one anyways.
Lydia and I created a language. It's for us to use on chats and stuff for when we don't want other people to know what we're saying. It'll be hard to translate it so we can speak it, but it'll still work for what we need it to do. We can it LAL.
I suppose that is it for now,

Dentist
So, I just got back from the dentist. I got a filling done on each side, the tooth that is farthest in the back. My mouth is completely numb and I don't know how I'm going to eat since I can't eat anything but really soft foods for the rest of the day. Also, you know that metallic taste that you get when metal touches a new filling? Well, there is a band for my braces right beside both fillings, making my mouth filled with the annoying metallic taste. They liked the color of my braces though, green.
This morning in seminary, we talked about the birth of Christ and then how at twelve years old, Jesus was left behind at Jerusalem. After that, we all started telling stories about we got lost. It was entertaining when Matt was telling his story, someone said that he started crying when he got lost, and this was just a month ago, and he agreed and went along with it. He said he went to the gift shop and bought some chapstick and sat there messing with the chapstick for two hours before his class found him.
I have found my new favorite quote. It is, "Live like there's no tomorrow, dream like you'll live forever."

Spitually Strengthening Stuff
Last night for mutual, we all dressed up as Book of Mormon/ Bible characters. They invited the Newport ward's youth and so there was a lot of people there. First Bro. McKinney who was dressed as Captain Moroni said some words on faith and then we all stood and talked about our characters and said why they were our hero. I went as Rebekah, the wife of Issac. The most popular female character was queen Ester and the most popular male character was a stripling warrior. Afterward, we all had pie, which Sis. Romero called poison.
This morning at seminary we had a testimony meeting, except everyone had to bear their testimony. The Spirit was so strong. After we were all done, Sis. Smiley said that if she was stranded on the top of a mountain in three feet of snow at midnight, she would want us all to be there with her, so God would take us all up to Heaven like the city on Enoch. That would never happen. I mean, how would a whole Seminary class, plus the teacher, get stranded on top of a mountain in three feet of snow at midnight? Very unrealistic.
Anyway, at piano lessons today, I started a new song. It's a jazzy type Christmas song. I'm apparently really good at those songs and playing them just comes easily for me. The teacher also said that I played one of the songs 'beautifully.' I've never heard anyone say that me playing was beautiful.
Lydia wants me to get off and watch 'The Waterhorse' now so I better stop typing.

Trying to make it Snow
Lydia and I have a goal to make it snow before October ends. I'm playing a bunch of Christmas songs on the piano and we have Christmas songs playing in the background while we do schoolwork. The other thing we have succeeded in getting is rain so far...
Lydia and I were going to throw a Halloween party, but then the young women are going to put on a Halloween party for the little kids. Also, the few people we've told don't seem very interesting in going to a Halloween party, so I think we're just going to call it off.
So, I'm at the good part in my fanfiction. It's the part where Sirius dies, but I really don't want Sirius to die because he's one of the best characters, not my favorite, those places are reserved for Luna Lovegood and Draco Malfoy, but he is still a character that I want to stay in the story. I have no idea how to keep him alive if I decide to not kill him off though. I need him, because he's training Haley to become an animagus and she can't complete that without him, because only Moony could help her and he isn't an animagus himself.
Anyway, I've been realizing how fragile life is. I was reading a poem I got in my email that was written by a girl with cancer. It was talking about how you should live your life to the fullest because she couldn't.
Meagan was talking Saturday and something she said I liked. She was talking to one of her friends at school and was complaining about life, which is pretty common for her. The friends interrupted her and said "When you loose all hope, just remember this: At least when you look up, you can see the stars." her friend lives in town, so he can't see the stars when they come out. I thought that was cool.

Exciting Dance
Okay, I haven't posted in a week, but my life was boring. It is now getting more interesting though. Today at church, I volunteered to sing a solo for the young woman's night of excellence, and Sis. Romero invited all the young men and parents to that.
Also, my neighbor, Sara is getting baptized, and she asked me to give a talk on the Holy Ghost at her baptism, next Saturday.
Also, for mutual next Tuesday I have to dress up as my favorite bible/book of Mormon character, but I have no idea who to dress up as.
Last night there was a stake dance. Sis. Romero gave Meagan, Ray, and I a ride. On the way to Chewelah, where the dance was, we got pulled over by a cop. Sis. Romero had a front headlight and the cop just gave us a warning. It turned out that the cop was actually LDS too because he told us we should go to the North Stake dance because he had a couple sons that were at that dance.
So, Sis. Romero decides she needs to floss her teeth because there was something stuck in them and so we go into Safeway to buy floss. Well, when we came out, we got pulled over again this time because she was speeding. She got a $200 ticket.
So the dance was normal, even though we got there more than halfway late, and then on the way home, we stopped at a gas station to buy some snacks for the trip back home.
The police officers that had pulled us over were in the store, eating dinner. That was interesting to say the least.
During the dance, Maria came up to me and said that her sister Kala, who is also my Trek sister, is jealous of her because she gets to come to dances and see me every month and Kala doesn't get to come until next August.
I wouldn't think that I became close enough to Kala that she would really miss me that much. I guess she thinks of me like a older sister now, though. I don't mind that much really. Sarah is the one sister that I really miss, and she doesn't come to Stake dances because she is in Republic Branch.
I guess that's all that has happened,

An Interesting Lesson
In seminary today we learned about physical and spiritual handicaps and so Sis. Smiley tied us all up with duck tape. Some people had it so they couldn't speak, some people were tied to chairs and others had their arms or legs tied so they couldn't use them. Elizabeth was blind folded and Erin was deaf.
We joked about what would happen if there was a fire right then. The headline "Seminary teacher kills a whole class of students that were tied to chairs!"
It was an interesting lesson to say the least.
In Spanish today, I learned that Cinco De Mayo (the Mexican holiday) isn't even celebrated in Mexico. It is just celebrated in the USA, even though it is claimed to me the Mexican Independence day. Their real Independence day is September 16th.
I dressed my Spanish avatar in her Halloween costume. She is count Dracula's wife and has a scary white cat.
I guess that's it.
Adios,

A cool website I found
I found this website and it's interesting, but it's mostly for kids so... anyway, the link is www.misfits.favland.com
I'd like to post my memoir on here, but I don't know how, as it's a document and not a website. Also, the last time I tried, it didn't work, so I guess that you can't read it. It's seven pages long, so I don't want to post it on here, but I might have to if someone really wants to read it.
Anyway, I haven't posted in a long time, and I'm sorry but nothing really exciting has happened. Just normal life.
My and mom were talking the other day and we got talking about what people would think if they could see into our minds. If someone saw into my mind, they would get lost. I'm always thinking about one of the many stories I'm working on, and also schoolwork that has to be done, plus worrying about events coming up. My mind is hectic. I think way to much, as you have probably realized.
So, Lydia is writing a story, and for it she needs a whole bunch of cat names, so me and Lydia were trying to think of names of cats we had in the past. If you think of any, let me know so I can tell her. Thanks.
I guess that's it,

Scientific investigation
It came to my attention that there are some unanswered questions in this world. One of such has been pondered over by man for many, many years. There have been given many answers. I have done some research and come up with a suitable answer to it.
The question: "Why did the chicken cross the road?"
One simple answer I found:
"Why did the chicken cross the road?" is one of the oldest and most famous joke riddles still in use in the English language. The most common answer to this riddle is "To get to the other side." When asked at the end of a series of other riddles, whose answers are clever, obscure, and tricky, this answer's obviousness and straight-forwardness becomes part of the humor. Some psychologists believe the riddle's humor comes from the fact that its answer is expected to be funny, but is not.
But that is not the only answer. Another answer from a more scientific view:
The question "Why did the chicken cross the road" is invalid. It is invalid because "why" assumes that the chicken had some reason for taking the action "cross the road". This, in turn, assumes that the chicken has the concept of "road"; after all, if the chicken doesn't know that the road is there, then the chicken did not - from the chickens point of view - cross the road, and consequently it is meaningless to ask for its motivations for doing so.
Since chicken is an animal, it is unlikely that it has the concept of road in the same sense than humans do; since it is a bird, whose ancestors were probably capable of flight in the near past, it is unlikely to have the concept of road in any sense - why would a flying bird need roads?
Therefore, the chicken can never have any motivation for crossing the road, since from the chickens point of view, it never does any such thing. It simply moves from one point to another, and these points happen to be on the opposite side of a flat area of ground. No road-crossing has happened.
Think of it this way: if you walk over a scent trail left by some animal, and you don't know that the trail is there, it is foolish to ask your motives of crossing that trail. One can ask your motives for walking in the first place, but the crossing was pure coincidence and not something you chose.
Finally we must address the standard answer to the question: "To get to the other side." It seems to imply a knowledge of the road (to understand 'the other side' the chicken must have knowledge of some object with two sides, understand that it is on one side of said object and desire to cross the object to reach the other side). The chicken must have crossed the road for the sole and ultimate purpose of reaching the other side of "the road". We are to reconcile this with the (most unassailable) assumption that the chicken has no knowledge of the road "as a road" and the need to allow this statement as a positive answer to the question "Why did the chicken cross the road?" We have specified that the chicken has no knowledge of a road "as a road". However, we have never suggested that the chicken has no knowledge of the road "as something". What then is the nature of the road as the chicken perceives it? We would not be unjustified in suggesting that at the very least the chicken has access to its own sensory data. It then must have a knowledge of the road as the "extended-hard-flatspace". We need go no further in our suppositions. We have here a chicken with an exploratory bent who wishes to discover what lies beyond the "extended-hard-flatspace". This adequately answers the question "Why did the chicken cross the road?" with the statement "To get to the other side" all without in the least requiring that the chicken understand roads in the sense that we as humans understand roads.
This information was taken from the site http://www.allauthors.com/archives/cat__creative_nonfiction_essays.html
I’d just like to say that so I don’t get sued or something.
I found neither of these answers very helpful, so I did some of my own research.
Chicken brains are very small, although in several places I heard that chickens have two brains, that's why they can run around with no head. Also, from what I have heard, chickens are like one of the least intelligent animals on Earth. There is no way they would be able to comprehend what a road was.
My final answer to the question is:
The chicken is simply not smart enough to cross a road, therefore, it just crossed a large flat area, likely to get to food or something similar.
Next question I will find the answer to: Which came first, the chicken or the egg?

General Conference
Yesterday and today there was General Conference and so we gathered in mom and dad's room to watch all four sessions. I couldn't see the screen very well since it was playing on dad's laptop and I only got notes on the first session. It was good to listen to though.
I started a second blog, although that one is all about the stories I've been writing and is mostly for my readers on fanfiction to read about my stories.
There is nothing to do without schoolwork. I've been very bored whenever I haven't been doing schoolwork, but at the same time I don't particularly like schoolwork, it is just something to do.
I started reading "Artemis Fowl" and there is a code at the bottom of the pages that the reader is supposed to solve, only I can't solve it. I've tried and nothing fits. It is a complicated code and it makes no sense, There are 'E's where 'E's aren't supposed to be and also no 'E's where an 'E' should be.
I guess that's all that has happened in the last couple days, so...

Problems
Today was boring, once again. I managed to get everything done early again.
Seminary this morning was a lot of fun. Since it's Friday we had a scripture mastery day. I memorized three new scriptures. They are long ones, too. If we get them all memorized by Christmas we're going to have a party with Chinese food. a fancy party. Unfortunately, I don't particularly like Chinese food.
I started a new story today. I have only three out of like fifteen stories I'm working on finished. It seems to be a problem with me, starting things and not finishing them. I get bored with them or something.
The newest story is a murder mystery. It'll be the first mystery I've written, so I don't know how good it'll be.
Mom bought a new monitor for her computer, because the other one kept messing up. It is flat and only has the right coloring if it is tilted at the right angle, kind of messed up.
I had to write two essay's today. One was a memoir. It was supposed to be 2-3 pages long but ended up being 6 pages long. The other was a two paragraph paper on how a microscope works for biology. They were both easy to write. Unfortunately, I seem to have writer's block for my stories I am writing.
I was thinking today about the sun. People seem to dislike the sun a lot, saying it causes global warming, and gives you cancer and stuff, but without it, we'd all be dead.
Plants feed off of the sun. Then animals eat those and we eat those animals. If the sun disappeared, there be no plants, and therefore they're be no food. Or light. Or warmth. The sun is way more helpful then it is bad for the Earth. Also, ever guess why people get so depressed during the winter? No sunlight.
I guess that's it for now,

More Christmas Songs
Today I didn't have Seminary as it was a Wednesday and we don't have Seminary on Wednesdays because of the two hour late start at Riverside. I woke up early enough to go to Seminary, however. I couldn't fall asleep and so I am, once again, tired.
I was supposed to have a Biology Lab project today but the Brine Shrimp that I was supposed to be looking at under a microscope haven't matured yet.
At piano lessons I passed off two songs, making me very happy, and start two new songs, both for The Nutcracker. All of the songs I am playing are now Christmas songs. It is just barely October, still three months till Christmas. all well, my teacher is more excited about learning them than I am. She got so excited when she handed me the book. I'm the only person at my level and so therefore the only person who can play the Nutcracker songs that she teaches.
I know this is a short post, but I'm really tired and Lydia wants to me to watch a movie we got at the Library today, so I need to get off the computer.
Adios,
